Should You Pull?YES

Jean is the Standard 5-Star Anemo sword user, leader of the Knights of Favonius from Mondstadt who provides with good AoE burst healing, grouping and buffs. Gale Blade command a whirlwind to pull opponents into single spot, holding them there as long as you have. I'd spend on Jean for Gale Blade before looking at weaker Anemo substitutes.

Weaknesses

  • Energy planning matters — skimping on ER makes Jean's Burst feel inconsistent.
  • Signature weapon and premium supports still move the needle more than most 4★ kits.

Sustain

As mentioned before, Jean has the ability to keep Furina's Fanfare stacks up, making them good teammates. The two other slots can be filled with a powerful main DPS such as Neuvillette or Raiden Shogun for example, and a Sub-DPS. As long as they can benefit from Jean's healing and Furina's Hydro application, it will be a good choice.
