Overview

Archonlytics (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates archonlytics.com, a site providing character build guides, tier lists, weapon rankings, and team-composition advice for gacha and RPG games. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.

Data We Collect

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site. These tools automatically collect:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Clicks on internal links and interactive elements
• Mouse movements, scrolls, and anonymized session replays (Clarity)
• Approximate geographic location (country / city level)
• Browser type, operating system, and screen size
• Referring website or search query that led you here

This data is collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies placed by Google and Microsoft. It is aggregated — we see totals, trends, and anonymized session insights, not information tied to individual identities.

How We Use This Data

• Understand which characters, guides, and features are most useful
• Diagnose performance or usability issues
• Prioritise future content and features

We do not use this data for advertising targeting, profiling, or any form of automated decision-making about you.

Cookies

GA4 sets first-party cookies (prefixed _ga) to distinguish unique sessions. These cookies expire after 13 months.

Microsoft Clarity sets first-party cookies such as _clck and _clsk to persist a Clarity user id and combine page views into a session. Clarity may also use local storage for the same purpose.

You can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Note that blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use the site.

Your Opt-Out Options

• Browser settings — disable third-party cookies or enable “Do Not Track” in your browser preferences.
• Google Analytics Opt-out — install the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to block GA4 tracking across all sites.
• Microsoft Clarity — Clarity masks sensitive inputs by default. You can clear site cookies / storage for archonlytics.com or use browser tracking protections to limit session capture. See Clarity’s terms.
• Ad personalisation — manage Google’s use of your data for ads at adssettings.google.com.

Third-Party Services

Analytics data is processed by Google LLC (GA4) and Microsoft (Clarity) under their own privacy policies. These providers may transfer and process data in the United States and other countries. For details, see Google’s Privacy Policy and Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.

Character artwork, game assets, and game data referenced on this site are the property of their respective rights holders (miHoYo / HoYoverse, Kuro Games, etc.). Archonlytics is not affiliated with or endorsed by any game developer.

Data Retention

GA4 retains event-level data for 14 months by default, after which it is automatically deleted. Clarity retains session recordings and related analytics according to your Clarity project retention settings. Aggregated reports may persist longer but cannot be linked back to individual users.

Children’s Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
