Talent Priority
Start Xinyan's talent materials on Normal Attack; it's what you actually press every rotation.
On Xinyan, Elemental Burst is the second stop — take it to 8–10 once the primary talent is online.
Park Xinyan's Elemental Skill last (or skip). Resources are better spent on Skill/Burst breakpoints.
Substat Priority
Cast Skill then Burst each rotation.
Follow the recommended rotation for optimal Xinyan performance.

Xianyun
Sustain
As a Claymore character, Xinyan has higher Plunging Attack scaling than most of the characters in the game. This makes her a good candidate for Plunging teams with Xianyun. Alongside great DMG buffs from Furina and Bennett as well as Elemental Infusion from C6 Bennett she can deal powerful Plunge Attacks.

Xinyan converts her Physical or Pyro damage into high-impact plunges, utilizing her shield's Physical DMG bonus to amplify her strikes.

Bennett provides the flat ATK necessary to scale Xinyan's dual-scaling kit and ensures she stays healthy during her close-range rotations.

Furina enables Vaporize or simply provides a massive universal DMG buff that scales Xinyan's Burst and Plunge damage simultaneously.

Xianyun enables Xinyan's plunging attacks and provides the flat damage bonus that makes Xinyan's high Claymore multipliers truly threatening.
