Yanfei wants a consistent amount of Hydro application to be able to keep up with her for elemental reactions. This means that 2 Hydro characters is ideal. Furina is often Yanfei's best support due to the powerful DMG buffs Furina provides on top of some elemental application.
Yanfei functions as a long-range Pyro driver, using her Charged Attacks to trigger Vaporize reactions for consistent high-target damage.
