Strengths
- Blazing Blessing deals Pyro DMG while applying a shield that lasts for 8 seconds.
- Crimson Ooyoroi deals Pyro DMG from the front of your active character when Normal Attacks occur.
- Does the Shield Support job with clear Pyro identity rather than vague flex value.
- Posts B-tier Spiral Abyss and B in Imaginary Theater on our content ratings strip.
Weaknesses
- Needs honest Energy Recharge or a battery friend before the kit feels smooth.
- Constellation breakpoints matter more than the C0 kit advertises.
Talent Priority
For Thoma, Elemental Skill is the kit's main payoff — level this first toward 10.
Thoma follow-up talent: Elemental Burst supports the main damage/support loop.
Thoma's Normal Attack can sit low; it barely moves clear times versus their other talents.
Substat Priority
Cast Skill then Burst each rotation.

Thoma
Sustain
Thoma is a great addition in both Burning and Burnmelt teams, for example using characters such as Kinich and Wriothesley. Thoma has great synergy with Bennett alongside providing addition Pyro application for Emilie.

Kinich serves as the primary damage dealer, utilizing his Skill's loop shots to trigger high-frequency Dendro application and damage that scales with the Burning status.

Emilie provides massive off-field damage that increases when enemies are Burning, making her the premier Sub-DPS for maintaining the high aura uptime Kinich requires.

Bennett provides the essential ATK buff to maximize Kinich's damage while enabling Pyro Resonance and providing emergency healing to sustain the Burning self-damage.

Thoma provides a consistent Pyro shield to protect Kinich during his mobile Skill duration and contributes coordinated Pyro attacks to ensure the Burning reaction never drops.
Talents & Constellations

Alternatives to Thoma
Not sure Thoma is right for you? Compare against other characters to find your best pull.

Where Amber goes hard is Explosive Puppet: it puts a bunny out on the field that taunts the enemies and explodes once its duration is over or it. That's a Support answer, while Thoma is built as a Shield Support.

Where Dehya goes hard is Molten Inferno: it gain, performing a strong leap attack for a Pyro AoE strike. Pick Dehya when you want Support duty instead of Thoma's Shield Support pattern.

Where Xinyan goes hard is Sweeping Fervor: it deals Pyro DMG in front of Xinyan and creates a Shield based on the number of enemies hit. Direct peer to Thoma — pick whoever already matches your supports and comfort animations.

Chevreuse's Short-Range Rapid Interdiction Fire fires at her opponent(s), dealing AoE Pyro DMG. That's a Support answer, while Thoma is built as a Shield Support.
