Passive: Samurai Conduct
Base ATK 565 · Substat Elemental Mastery 110Lv90 R1
Forge (Blacksmith)Signature-tier on Iansan / Thoma — Samurai Conduct is the kit hook those builds lean on. Craft only when a listed user needs this substat/passive and you have the billet to spare.

Elemental Mastery 110
Samurai Conduct
Increases Elemental Skill DMG by 6%. After Elemental Skill hits an opponent, the character loses 3 Energy but regenerates 3 Energy every 2s for the next 6s. This effect can occur once every 10s. Can be triggered even when the character is not on the field.
Craftable — copies stack toward R5 over time at no banner cost. Prioritize refining if you use this weapon on a main; otherwise R1 is fine while you gather billets.

Sub-DPS
Best in slot for reaction teams. EM feeds Quicken/Aggravate and the passive regens Energy after Skill hits, greatly reducing ER investment needed.

Shield Support
Kitain Cross Spear is therefore Thoma's best weapon in a Burgeon build. Favonius Lance is also a great option for Thoma and can often be better depending on the team.

Healer
EM substat boosts her own Bloom/Quicken contribution. Passive restores Energy from Skill use. Good all-rounder.

Increases Elemental Skill DMG by 6% / 7.5% / 9% / 10.5% / 12%. After Elemental Skill hits an opponent, the character loses 3 Energy but regenerates 3 / 3.5 / 4 / 4.5 / 5 Energy every 2s for the next 6s. This effect can occur once every 10s.

Sub-DPS
Niche use in Melt/Vaporize teams where EM amplifies reaction DMG. Passive drains and refunds Energy — requires careful timing. Strong in EM Vaporize builds.

Main DPS
Free craftable polearm. EM substat supplements Spread damage; passive reduces Skill CD. Good budget pick.

Sub-DPS
Craftable energy helper. Use when Burst uptime is the bottleneck; personal DPS is behind Deathmatch.

Support
Kitain Cross Spear for its particle generation that can occur off-field.

Aggravate
Iansan #1

The strongest Iansan team archetype. A Dendro DPS (Nahida, Alhaitham, or Tighnari) applies persistent Quicken aura, and Iansan's off-field El hits trigger Aggravate — a flat Electro DMG bonus on each hit. Kazuha or another Viridescent Venerer support provides 40% Electro RES shred while a healer or shielder rounds out the team.
View teamOverloaded
Iansan #1

Pairs Iansan's off-field Electro with Pyro DPS for Overloaded reactions. Chevreuse provides her unique HP-scaling ATK buff when the Pyro + Electro team triggers Overload, adding a second damage amplifier. Viable if you lack Dendro options or want a Natlan-flavored Overload composition.
View teamNatlan Electro
Iansan #1

A Natlan-themed team maximizing Nightsoul synergy. Iansan's Nightsoul's Blessing pairs with other Natlan characters' bonuses for stacked team buffs. Xilonen provides universal RES shred, Ororon stacks Electro resonance, and Mavuika drives the main damage with Iansan triggering Overload off-field.
View teamBurning
Thoma #1

Thoma is a great addition in both Burning and Burnmelt teams, for example using characters such as Kinich and Wriothesley. Thoma has great synergy with Bennett alongside providing addition Pyro application for Emilie.
View teamBurgeon
Thoma #1

Burgeon teams require 1 Hydro, 1 Dendro and 1 Pyro (in this case Thoma). The final position can be filled by various characters with a second Dendro character such as Yaoyao and Kirara being great choices.

Thoma #1

Thoma can be a great shielder in a range of general teams where he provides a bonus more than just shielding such as providing Pyro Resonance with Hu Tao and Wanderer teams.
