Kirara can be a great teammate for Sethos with her shielding making Charged Attacks easier for Sethos. Characters such as Sucrose and Kaedehara Kazuha help massively with both crowd control and grouping for Charged Attacks.

In this Nilou-centric team, Kirara provides both shielding and Dendro application. That being said, she will not apply enough Dendro on her own. Characters such as Lauma, Nahida and Alhaitham help to provide enough Dendro application.

Kirara often pairs well with DPS such as Tighnari or Keqing who adopt a more quickswap-style gameplay due to Kirara's 12s cooldown on her shielding. The first example focusing more on Aggravate while the second team instead focuses more on Spread.

Hyperbloom team compositions can be great for Kirara. That being said, she does not provide enough Dendro application on her own. This makes characters such as Alhaitham or an on-field Nahida help with this. Kuki Shinobu or Raiden Shogun are generally the best Electro characters for Hyperbloom.

Freeze teams benefit from Layla due to the survivability she brings alongside the Cryo Resonance that she can enable. Additionally, Layla can even function as a battery for a Cryo Main DPS such as Kamisato Ayaka and Skirk ensuring they can consistently deal damage.

This is currently one of Layla's most popular teams using Wanderer almost like a Hypercarry by primarily buffing them but with Hydro and Cryo in the background helping to keep enemies in place and creating additional reactions. Layla provides not only elemental application and shielding but also interruption resistance helping Wanderer stay in the sky.
